Location: Bunia/Kinshasa

Contract Length: Director Fixed Term Contract (2 years)

Right to Work: Must have right to work in country where role is based for duration of employment.

Language Requirements: French and English

People Management: Head of Supply Chain, Humanitarian Director, Field Managers, Program Directors, Head of Award & Partnership.

Remit: National

Principal Accountabilities: As a member of Senior Management Team, contribute to Leadership of DRC Country Office, support implementation of programming, oversee coordination of program implementation, ensure timely reporting, manage budgets, and align with emergency response protocols.

Oversight and Management of Program Implementation

• Ensure budget holders are accountable for projects on PRIME management.
• Coordinate field delivery of high-quality programming aligned with country strategy.
• Manage program implementation team and ensure adherence to objectives.

Child Safeguarding

• Ensure COSFA implementation across country office projects.
• Ensure CSFP roles are part of emergency response.
• Report on CSP allegations per local procedures.

Staff Management, Mentorship, and Development – Program Implementation

• Ensure staffing within Program Implementation, including sub-office staff.
• Manage team development and performance evaluations.

Emergency Response Management

• Support alignment with PRIME requirements and budget management.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness actions and SOPs.

Experience and Skills

• 10+ years management experience in NGOs/industries.
• Logistics, procurement, and supply chain expertise.
• Emergency management and compliance knowledge.

Education and Qualifications

• Master’s in development/social sciences or equivalent experience.
